Pinecone Wreath - Get a 16 inch (size optional) foam wreath form and wrap burlap around the top for hanging. Then, purchase or collect pinecones. You can either put the pinecones on as is with floral wire, or paint them fall colors! Make sure to layer them as you place them around the wreath form.
Pumpkins and Gourds - Decorating with pumpkins and gourds is classic, but if you want to add some va-va-voom think about painting them with a fall color scheme!
Cinnamon Stick Placeholder Card - Place name cards into the natural crevice in a cinnamon stick. You can also add some colored twine to the end of both sides of the cinnamon stick to add something a little extra.
Handwritten Menu Cards - Use your calligraphy skills! Write each menu item on a folded piece of paper to display in front of each item. Simple and pretty.
Hand Embroidered Table Runner - Want to make every one in the family feel special? Embroider everyone's names into the table runner. Use different colors and fonts!
"Give Thanks" Banner - Grab some construction paper of your color choice and cut out each letter. Feed through a piece of string or twine and hang it up. Add any other decor you'd like or keep it simple!
Tray Door Hanger - Take an old tray and paint with black chalkboard paint. Write a Thanksgiving phrase with chalk onto the center and hang on your door! Feel free to attach some flowers, leaves, or other decor around the tray to give it that extra fall flavor.
